FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON MEMBERSHIP:
What should I do if I am already a NAMPAP member with a valid NAMPAP ID and wished to become member of NAMPAP Davao Chapter?
Your membership with NAMPAP National is already valid. However, to become part of the NAMPAP Davao Chapter, you must still apply and undergo formal induction. Once your national membership is verified, the only requirement to proceed is the payment of the Annual Dues for the Davao Chapter.
Upon induction into the NAMPAP Davao Chapter, you are automatically recognized as a bonafide member of NAMPAP, Inc. (National), as all membership applications and payments are duly forwarded to the national organization.

I already passed the Master Plumber Board Exam. Can I apply for membership to NAMPAP Davao Chapter even though I have not yet taken an oath?
New prospective members are always welcome to join the NAMPAP Davao Chapter. You may apply for membership at any time; however, final approval and formal induction will only take place after you have completed your Oath-taking with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

While your application is in process and prior to induction, you are encouraged to participate in NAMPAP Davao Chapter activities. Please note, however, that attendance is not permitted during Chapter Elections and Board of Directors (BOD) Meetings until you are officially inducted.

Periodically, especially following the board examinations, NAMPAP Davao Chapter facilitates PRC-regulated Oath-taking ceremonies. These events are typically followed by the formal induction of new members into the NAMPAP organization.
What are the required payments regarding membership?
Membership Fee: Php. 1,200.00
The Membership Fee is a one-time payment required during the application process. Of this amount, 70% is allocated to NAMPAP National to support its programs and operations, while the remaining 30% is directed to the local chapter to fund its initiatives and member services.

Annual Dues: Php. 800.00
The Annual Dues, which serve as the lifeblood of the chapter’s operations, are typically collected during the last General Membership Meeting (GMM) of the preceding year or the first GMM of the incoming year, though payment may be made at any time. Of the total amount, 80% supports the initiatives and activities of the local chapter, while the remaining 20% is allocated to NAMPAP National. Please note that the NAMPAP Davao Chapter may have slightly higher dues compared to other chapters, as this additional cost helps sustain the website and fund various chapter-specific programs.

NAMPAP Identification Card: Php. 150.00
NAMPAP, Inc. (National) issues official Identification Cards that serve as direct proof of membership, in addition to internal records. It is highly recommended to secure your NAMPAP ID Card upon applying for membership. In the event of loss, replacement cards may be requested at the same cost as the original.

NAMPAP ID Card Courier Fee: Php. 150.00
This is an optional payment, particularly intended for members residing in provincial areas. Applicants who prefer to personally claim their ID at the NAMPAP National Headquarters may choose to opt out of this fee.
What is a Life Membership? How can I apply for it?
The NAMPAP National Board of Directors issued BOARD RESOLUTION No. 018, Series of 2021, dated July 17, 2021, recommending the revival of the LIFE MEMBERSHIP program of NAMPAP, Inc.

The primary objective of this initiative is to generate funds through Life Membership fees. Twenty percent (20%) of the total collected fees will be allocated for the construction of a permanent headquarters or office building, as well as for the continued organizational upkeep of NAMPAP, Inc. Life Members will be honored as distinguished members of the association and will enjoy a twenty-five percent (25%) discount on all NAMPAP Inc. National Conferences and Conventions.
