The successful passers of the February 2026 Master Plumber Licensure Examination (MPLE) formally took their oath as new professionals during a face-to-face mass oath-taking ceremony hosted by the National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines (NAMPAP) Davao Chapter, in coordination with the NAMPAP National Headquarters and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region XI. The event was held at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Magallanes Street, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Master Plumbing (BOMP), administered the oath to 87 new Master Plumbers. In his message as Guest of Honor, Hon. Cruz emphasized the importance of the profession and inspired the inductees to uphold ethical and lawful practice while skillfully fulfilling their responsibilities.
Following the ceremony, NAMPAP National and its Davao Chapter formally welcomed the new members in the presence of NAMPAP officers. Among those in attendance were NAMPAP National President RMP Joenel Gallego, NAMPAP Davao Chapter President RMP Maire Yvelle Mejos, and past National President RMP Noel Hiponia, who shared an encouraging message for the new professionals. PRC Region XI Director Raquel Abrantes also addressed the inductees, highlighting the role of family and loved ones in their success.
With the conclusion of the Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (Oath of Professional), the new Master Plumbers are now only a few steps away from receiving their Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card from the PRC, officially recognizing them as Filipino Registered Master Plumbers (RMPs). The event also underscored NAMPAP’s continuing mission to strengthen the profession by expanding membership and supporting the development of Master Plumbing nationwide.
