Plumbing Design Workshop Series Session 10: Hot Water Distribution System

Session 10 of the Plumbing Design Workshop Series, titled “Hot Water Distribution System,” was successfully held at the Big 8 Hotel in Digos City. The workshop was led by Registered Master Plumber Darryl F. Gelacio, the 2024 Chapter President, who delivered a comprehensive discussion on the different types of water heating systems. To enrich the learning experience, participants were also given the opportunity to visit an actual site showcasing a sample installation, allowing them to see firsthand how the concepts presented translate into practical applications.

The event brought together 24 professionals from engineering firms, local government units, and private contractors, all eager to strengthen their technical expertise and stay updated with industry practices. By the end of the session, attendees had not only gained valuable insights and new competencies but also reaffirmed their commitment to continuous improvement in plumbing design. The workshop emphasized the importance of ongoing education, collaboration, and hands-on experience in advancing the standards of plumbing practice.
